You are an idea person. Furthermore, you are a maker who brings these ideas to life. Through your own graphic design work and art direction, you can capture the spirit of an idea in a wide variety of aesthetic styles. From print, apparel, key visuals, campaigns, to video and motion, your work exhibits thinking, quality and visual diversity. This role is responsible for leading concept development and the translation and extension of concepts into effective visual designs for marketing, online campaigns, web and motion-based projects. Under the direction of a Creative Lead (CD), you will work hands-on on several projects at a time and will be involved in all phases of creative development. You will be responsible for planning and executing portions of projects independently or in conjunction with a copywriter and freelancers. You will be involved in new business projects. You work independently, with limited oversight from your creative leader. •Job Description• Partner with copywriter to concept and design against client and internal briefs with work that moves people •Transform abstract ideas into key visuals, comps, mood-boards, storyboards, and branded content •Leverage your understanding of popular culture to develop ideas and creative work that will be relevant to audiences •Plans and directs many aspects of assigned projects, and serves as an integral member of the Creative team •Accountable for managing a team of Creative talent, and leading them in the development of creative work that is consistently sound, of excellent caliber, and acceptable to the client •Maintain an understanding of trends, technologies, and media best practice •Works with appropriate account representative on all projects

Qualifications

•Must have an agency background •Portfolio must include all digital (mobile, web & social) marketing work •Strong conceptual marketing abilities, understanding of social media platforms and trends, and craft of design and typography also a must. •Must be conceptual/an idea person as well as hands on •Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or Graphic Design •Minimum 5 years experience •Recognized expertise in multi-channel creative development, with expert knowledge of the design programs required for that discipline •Solid knowledge of steps required in creative development process: provides guidance to achieve creative direction; gives timely and helpful coaching; and produces all work in a timely, cost-effective manner •Good presentation skills •Good people-management and coaching skills •Ability to solve problems using keen instincts and organizational experience •Proven mentoring, supervisory, and team-building skills
