In celebration of International Women's Day, McDonald's is taking its brand somewhere it has never, in the history of being open, gone before. The iconic golden archways that make you think of Quarter Pounders, Big Macs and McFlurries have been physically turned upside down to form a “W” at the Lynwood, California location to honor women around the world. Why this specific location? To celebrate the owner, of course. Patricia Williams has been a part of the McDonald's franchise for 30 years and has even encouraged her two daughters, Kerri and Nicole to work alongside her.  "Patricia, Kerri and Nicole represent the hardworking and dedicated women we have in our system," said the Oak Brook, Illinois-based fast food company in USA Today.
