Henrietta Stich Hard Apple Cider

by Theresa Christine Johnson on 05/25/2016 | 2 Minute Read

Here’s a California-style hard apple cider I’m definitely dying to try. These beautiful and elegant bottles designed by Makers & Allies for the Delfino Family Farm pay tribute to the history of the farm itself while giving cider drinkers an upscale option to consume.

“A collaboration between the elder and younger generation of the Delfino Family, Henrietta Stich Hard Apple Cider pays tribute to Henrietta, the matriarch of the Delfino Family, Apple Hill growers since 1964. Combining vintage-inspired type treatments with custom-illustrated apple branches, Henrietta Stich feels like a classy lady with just enough edge to make you want to learn more about her.”

The Delfino Family Farm harvests the apples for their tasty cider and splashes of red appear on the label in text and apple graphics. The rich black and burlap-colored tan label feels sophisticated and a step up from a lot of the ciders on the market today, appealing to people who want to branch out for a new flavor or who have a more discerning taste. On the front of the label we see a cross-stitch rooster, perhaps a play on words of the Stich name and a reminder of the history of the farm.
