by Jessica Deseo on 11/08/2016 | 4 Minute Read

Join us this November 23rd for The Dieline Conference Amsterdam.

The Dieline and Packaging Innovations have teamed up for a one-of-a-kind, free-to-attend conference, kicking off at Packaging Innovations Amsterdam 2016. Their first ever conference in the European mainland, The Dieline's exciting content will be exploring packaging and branding topics, with panels and discussions from both leading and emerging brands, as well as packaging suppliers and design agencies.

Top brands and design leaders will gather to discuss the challenges and opportunities that arise when designing for a major brand. As the leading platform for package design and inspiration, The Dieline couldn't think of a better place than a partnership with Packaging Innovations to inspire the Dutch packaging community. Combining their signature high-level content, endless inspiration and a curation of previous The Dieline Awards' winners, conference attendees will visit the future of packaging and branding design.

The event is specifically for packaging designers and marketing/brand managers. And remember; this is a free-to-attend conference that is exclusive to attendees of Packaging Innovations Amsterdam 2016. But space is limited, so don't delay!

Pieter Jelle Braaksma, Board member / innovation VBAT

Pieter Jelle grew up as a creative in VBAT, working as designer and later on as art director. In 2013 he set up the office for VBAT in Mexico, he returned to Amsterdam in 2015 to take up a position in the board.
He has an extensive experience in developing concepts into brand worlds that work across many touchpoints in 360 degrees; for packaging focussed as well as corporate brands. Pieter Jelle’s main focus is conception and strategy. He loves to passionately challenge the way of the obvious and embraces fresh perspectives. With a high energy and focussed drive he is always eager to take up challenges through branding and design.

Robert Kuiper, BrandNew

Owner of Brandnew (group) since 2004, educated as Marketeer, I worked in various marketing jobs before making a switch to the design industry in 1998. Talking about design is something I cannot help. Once seen, the ability of design to solve any obstacle ahead is contagious and never ending as, unfortunately, new obstacles keep arising☺. My strength is to envision; design helps me in giving Brands their true strength (back). Give me challenge and I will go ‘on’, but if afraid of flying don’t travel with me!

Rikard Ahlberg, Design Director and partner at BVD

Based in Stockholm Sweden, Rikard brings a holistic view, design strategic clarity and a high quality craftmanship in graphic design to clients like Vitra, Coca-Cola, 7-Eleven, IKEA, Swedish Society of Crafts and Design, and others. His life is all about challanges and opportunities.

He has since developed impressive expertise across many different design disciplines: graphic, corporate branding and packaging, 3D and structural, interiors, digital and beyond.
