The best way to stay warm in bitter wintry weather like they have in Russia? Vodka, and lots of it. Uniqa Creative Engineering designed the packaging for Tundra, a line of vodkas and bitters that come in flavors of the wild Russian tundra.
“TUNDRA vodka produced by ‘TATSPIRTPROM’ is an authentic product born in the wild and vivid, ecologically intact nature of Russian tundra. It is produced from the purest alpha spirit using soft water, natural extracts and wild berries. The design solution offered for TUNDRA made the product stylish, modern, easy to understand and highly visible on the shelf.”
“TUNDRA bottles feature the following iconography:
* simplified image of reindeer herder’s tent (chum) filled with native local patterns;
* white label that symbolizes the pure white snow of tundra;
* thin lines running horizontally through the label resemble traces in the snow.
Native patterns of the region that are placed inside the tent icon help differentiate various flavours of vodka in the product line.”
The metallic accents on the bottles not only contribute to a feeling of luxury but add to a chilly, brisk feeling. The bottles are a classic shape that is juxtaposed with a modern font. Each spirit has its own unique pattern and color palette, giving it a personality that sets it apart from the others. The teepee shape on the front of the label is instantly recognizable, though, and keeps the brand consistent.
