Kruk (Crow) Home Brewery

You don’t have to look too hard to find craft beer—which means, of course, that if brewers want their beer to stand out, they can’t just rely on the taste of the beer to reach consumers. Kruk Home Brewery hired hopa studio to create a brand and packaging design that expresses strength in simplicity.
Using charred and blackened tree limbs feels rough and almost masculine, situating the beer as flavorful and intense. The labels are faded hues with the Kruk logo resting boldly at the bottom. Information on the bottles are written in a typewriter-inspired font, speaking to the attention to detail that the brewers put into their process.
“We like beer, so it is natural that KRUK had to be placed in our portfolio one day. It is a time-consuming and complicated process to brew good beer. That is why the client set a clear goal—creating a label which, apart from obvious aesthetic qualities, will be cheap and quick to manufacture. A logo, signet, ‘domesticated beer’ claim and a system of same-colour labels—all of it was a result of our cooperation.
It is very simple to create next variants. The client himself changes the content in the form prepared by us and selects paper in a colour appropriate for the beer style. Logo lines determine the location and distances of particular content. Everything is ordered and in its place, owing to which we will quickly find specific information.
