Our skin is one of the first things people notice about us, so naturally we want to protect it and care for it. pHformula combines healthcare with skincare to create some of the best that skin treatments can offer. Puigdemont Roca designed their range of advanced cosmetic creams called VITA, with only two guidelines: use the company’s signature Helvetica lettering and a capsule flask.
“Following the instructions, we create a graphic image with a very large and shocking lettering to make clear the difference among every product. We suggest the creation of a high quality wrapped box, with an upper opening which leaves the product displayed as a totem once it has been opened. We think of cutting the large letter of every packaging into halves so that both sides of the pack coincide and create a mosaic when displayed beside one another.”
With the large lettering and clean appearance, VITA feels like a product that’s coming straight from the pHformula laboratory. The pill shaped bottle is striking and unique, instantly making the products stand out on the shelves. It also contributes further to the image that the company desires: skincare meets healthcare. Placing the name of each facial cream (A, B3, and C) off-center prevents pHformula from seeming too sterile, and communicates that the company is comprised of forward-thinking individuals.
“The final result is a range of 3 products, which shock not only in the packaging but also in the capsule flask, helping the client to boost the sales of the product. These products are exclusively sold in beauty and medical centers worldwide. With the design we aim to draw the attention of the client attending this kind of centers, where all this kind of products tend to be monochromatic and austere.”
