Sevenfive Creative was commissioned to develop this contemporary brand of single malt scotch whisky for Hunter Laing. The Distiller’s Art brand specializes in select ranges of malts to multiple global markets.
With striking typography in a modern style, the goal was to create a mix of classic whisky themes and simple modern contrasts. It’s placed over a woodcut style illustration from the backside of the bottle. The golden whisky color combined with the spatial depth of the drawing make for a compelling retail bottle.
On the front, the paper label helps the consumer easily identify key features like age, bottling date and number. The tube packaging is a contrary yet complimentary partner to the bottle, unified with silver foil accents.
