Well, what do we have here? A very modern take on the classic barber pole stripes, being used for the premium razor supply brand Stash. Yes, Stash – as in “mustache.” Cleverly named and also designed by Eric Nishioka, I am loving this style!
“Inspired by the colors and dizzy patterns of the barber's pole, the brand harkens back to a time when a man could take pride in the superior quality and refinement of their appearance.”
It’s a traditional Americana palette reinvented with a geometric patterning that screams 2015. The red, white and blue color palette is bright and saturated, it’s an attention getter for sure. I especially like the flag iconography that represents and identifies the different products. It’s a fun detail that can easily be incorporated into another pattern way as the product line grows.
A sharp design solution for a sharp product – Stash razor blades and grooming products for men who want to look damn good.
