The average cereal box receives over 60 quality impressions during its life cycle. So why not use that to inspire genuine creativity in the consumer? In designing the new boxes for Kix Cereal, Zeus Jones utilized a classic toy idea to turn the packaging into an interactive object.

You may recognize the Kix yellow and orange colors, but they’ve added in some fun cartoon characters and adventurous backgrounds. Parts of the cereal boxes are perforated and can then be popped out for playtime, almost like paper dolls that you played with years ago. Taking the creativity a step further, these whimsical characters also have a place in the digital world.

“The box also points to companion digital storybooks that further inspire kids’ imaginations by giving them the chance to use the pieces from the box to interact with original digital stories.”
