Bean-to-bar chocolate is about simplicity and keeping the pure, delicious taste of the cocoa bean in the product. Moniker SF designed these irresistible chocolate bars from Mita Chocolate using line-inspired graphics and vibrant hues to attract the buyer and differentiate each type.
“Mita is a husband-and-wife team of artisan chocolate makers. Based in Bogota, Colombia, Mita sources beans from Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia to create their amazing bean-to-bar chocolate. Moniker created the visual identity and packaging with a color-coded pattern system that can easily scale to future products.”
The flawless designs on each chocolate bar echoes Mita’s commitment to quality ingredients and to their craft. Beautiful colors and graphics help to set each bar apart based on its origin. Mita’s brand name is written using multiple lines, not taking away from the beauty of the packaging. Additionally, the drawings feel somewhat traditional, almost inspired by South American design. Aside from allowing for expansion, Mita’s consistency entices buyers to choose not just one but a few different chocolate bars in the line.
