Smartbites is the name of a range of sugar free candies for adults. The whole concept, from development of the idea to the design, branding and packaging, has been created by brand strategist and designer  José Jiménez Lara. José started the development of Smartbites as a personal branding project and the result is an integrated piece of work which also covers the creation of the recipes for all the different candies.


Healthy food and snacks are a big trend these days and José Jiménez Lara has decided to revamp the identity of a traditional product and create a range of premium hard candies with sophisticated designs and colours and with exotic and surprising flavours. 

“The product have been categorized into collections: safari, ravioli, gardens, Gaudí, Mondrian, gemstones and expressions. 
Every collection is linked to a specific range of flavours (cocktails, exotic fruits, flowers, etc.), packaging and product design. Each collection contains a protective acetate sheet menu that provides specific information on every single candy”.
