Fanny Limehead Riesling 2014

Rockabilly-style imagery tends to be associated with labelling of beers, pomades and clothes, but Vinomofo brings this lifestyle to life on the bottle of Fanny Limehead, a Riesling wine from the Clare Valley in Australia. The exuberance and delicacy of the wine is captured by a whimsical label created by Adam Monster, Art Director of Vinomofo.

“The hand-drawn figure of Miss Fanny Limehead on the label represents the wine in every way, and Adam used a cross-match of digital painting and traditional drawing, along with warm pastel tones and a lime green theme to achieve a mystical elegance to the label. This is contrasted by a gloss black high build for the logo, in custom typeface."

"Scents of jasmine blossom, rosemary and zesty lemon-lime match the citrus focus, softly curbed by a touch of sweetness make this wine fine, focussed and alluring - just like the label.“

The typeface and bootylicious illustration add a very contemporary, fun and fresh tone to this bottle but they also clearly communicate crisp flavours of the wine.
