LAR DE MAÍA

by Elizabeth Freeman on 12/08/2014 | 2 Minute Read

This wine bottle designed by JAVIER GARDUño Estudio de Diseño gives the consumer the opportunity to be the semilinear. The deep colored glass is brought to life with a pale pink label and bold font. A ballot used for note taking is wrapped around the neck and secured with a simple rubber band.

"When María and Irene came to the studio, they asked for a very creative design, supported by a strong concept. They're very used to wine tastings, so we decided to create a bottle emulating wines when they're being evaluated in a tasting. Instead of the capsules, we added a small paper with the tasting notes, attached with a rubber band, where the users could take their own notes."
