The Dieline Summit kicked off on a high note on Sunday with speakers and attendees coming in from 25 different countries worldwide. The event was held on the top floor of the Hyatt Regency, overlooking the Parisian landscape, and included a lovely cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres followed by a warm welcome by The Dieline's very own Founder, Andrew Gibbs. The mic was then handed off to Rebecca Costa, renowned sociobiologist to which, after her insightful forward thinking session, left designers and big-named brands alike in awe and inspired for what's to come in the future of packaging.

What is the future of packaging? This is the Question that has been asked time and time again by many and is the exact question that led Andrew Gibbs to form The 1st Annual Summit in Paris. Creatively intellectual speakers were handpicked based on their forward thinking and innovation in hopes that we can finally answer this long overdue question that's been on everyone's mind.

To understand the future of packaging we need to understand what is happening today. Step inside a supermarket and weave through the aisles to find that there is a major problem of complexity. Why are there so many different versions of the same exact product?

That in mind,  with the advancement of 3-D printing and eco-packaging, what else is to come in the near future and how rapidly will the packaging world change in the next 5 years? What does it mean for your business and your brand? And how can you get the upper hand on today's advancements?

These were only a few of the many topics that Rebecca Costa touched upon which jump-started ideas and prospective collaborations amongst the world's most important game-changers.
