In response to this weeks trending topic: Wood, we received this submission for a  wine bottle design that was inspired by German woodworking.

"The client's family name is Hobel, which translates out roughly in German to a woodworker. We embraced this concept with the icon, but more focused on tossing out traditional metallic capsules, and wrapping the neck of the bottle in wood veneer. Each vintage will get it's own unique wood selection. We worked closely with Trademark graphics to have these wood veneers applied with a pressure sensitive backing for ease of installation."
